If You Give a Police Officer a Cookie....
He'll probably ask for some milk to go with it 😉! As part of our "Week of Giving", the school-agers read the classic If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, by Laura Numeroff. We worked together to create the most delicious cookies this town has ever seen, which of course we had to share! Who better to share them with than the brave men and women who protect our town and selflessly give their time to helping others?! We personally hand-delivered a tasty batch of cookies to the Grand Haven Public Safety builiding, and Officer Dilley was kind enough to let us take a peek at the inside of a fire truck!
On our walk back, we happened upon some wild animals- an enormous elephant, and giant giraffe, and a delightful duck! These creatures can be found in front of a home on Washington. We just had to get a few pictures with them!
