We've had another busy few weeks at the "Noise" :) Can you believe we'll be going back to school at the end of this month?! It's going to be bittersweet, as this has been such an exciting summer for the school-age class.
Here's a little bit about our week so far:
On Monday, we took another hike through Duncan Woods, collecting lots of treasures to bring back to school for our nature collage. They had so much fun collaborating with their peers while they made such interesting works of art! We sure have some true nature lovers in our group! We followed up our hike with a trip to Mary A White playground so we could check another area playground off our summer bucket list. 🌲🌳🍂🍁🍃
Tuesday was an active day, as we conducted our "Sport's Day" over at Lakeshore Middle School's athletic area. We did sprints and races on the track, had jump-roping contests, played parachute, baseball, etc. It was a blast, and we got tons of exercise while having fun! ⚽⚾🏃🏆
We were super excited to check out the Coast Guard carnival on Wednesday before it opened for the day. It was nice to meander through without all the crowds and noises. Everyone got a chance to pick out their favorite rides. Then it was on to the Train Park for playing and snacks! 🎠🎡🎪
Today, we made caterpillar puppets to tell the story of The Big Hungry Caterpillar to the 4's class. We really enjoyed modeling good listening skills for them, and telling them the story in a unique way 🐛🍊🍐🍓🍉🍕🍦🍃🦋
